He's Just Not That Into You!

Best book on tape ever! Thanks Alyssa! Thanks Orange County Public Library System for carrying it! I feel so enlightened now and have reaffirmed my recent epiphany of how I should "just be myself" because if a guy is or is not into you, you will know through his actions (or lack thereof). Basically, if a guy asks for your number, calls you all the time, supports you and your values, wants to get physical and isn't a jerk, he is probably into you (sometimes literally). I can relax now. And yes, it is a little insulting, but I'd rather be insulted than be sitting by my phone hopeful that "maybe he'll call; he's just super busy right now." Very intersting, indeed.

I would like to say, the party we had Sunday was lovely. There were no chocolates being thrown and destroying the chenile this time! However, I had an over-dose of sugar and had to sit down on the bathroom floor for a while wondering, "Should I just stick my finger down my throat and end this intense agony or what?" I went with "or what" because throwing up isn't very fun.

I went to Disney on Thursday with Erin, Amanda, and their families for free and ran into Alicia and her mother as we were watching the final parade. It was neat to go there, even though it was under sad circumstances. I mean, Erin's great-grandma didn't die, she just had an annoying heart-attack and she decided, "Eh, maybe now's not such a good time for a visit to Disney..." I ended up hanging out with Amanda and her parents because they were going to some of the shows I thought would be neat to see. I was a bit disappointed with myself because this year has been "The Year of Disney" and I totally forgot paper and a pen to write down my observations on the last trip. There are so many interesting things you see at that place in terms of the people who go and why they might be there.

Let's see, what else...Saw "The Family Stone" today. Cried and laughed. Very good movie. I guess that's it! I'll let you know when I find out who the hell else has had kids and gotten married. By the way, it has come to my attention that some of the kindergarteners here are children of people my age. Kindergarten, people, kindergarten. Maybe even older.
